CAMERA BUYING GUIDE

Its not all that easy to select the right camera, which is why i have put together this article to make things easier for you. Since i use Canon, I have bracketed certain cameras and lenses together. There are two things which you need to decide before buying. What is your budget? What do you need the camera for? some people think that since they do not want to take up their photography as a profession so they do not need a pro camera. In fact they are wrong. On the other hand you may want to pursue photography as a profession but at this point of time financially you may not be in a position to buy one of your dream cameras. Do remember that it is you who creates all those beautiful images and not your camera. Once you get started, as you get recognition and appreciation for your work, clients and money will follow. This is when you can always upgrade to a better camera / lens. Now you know for sure that photography is going to work for you and is certainly going to pay for your equipment as well.

It is also a myth that you need to start off with a cheaper camera and once you learn, you should upgrade to a better one. Its not a car, that you should learn on a cheaper car just in case you bang it somewhere the loss wont be much. If you have the money and and can handle the equipment well, go straight for the camera you want. otherwise, you will be spending an additional sum for your first camera besides the camera you always wanted.
